Hey there, I’m Toni! I’m a Security Engineer and a tech enthusiast from Finland. Currently, I’m working as a Information Security Specialist at Mehiläinen, where I focus on security operations and incident response.

Experience

My path into security wasn’t exactly a straight line. I started out doing first-line IT support, got curious about the security side of the tickets I was closing, and things spiralled from there. Since then I’ve worked across most of the blue team, including threat hunting, incident response, and SIEM engineering, with some internal red teaming and penetration testing mixed in, plus a stint doing privacy and compliance-related incident response at Wolt.

These days I’m back at Mehiläinen as an Information Security Specialist, running security operations across a large, multi-country environment. Mostly doing incident response and threat detection.

I also hold a few vendor certifications (Palo Alto Cortex XDR, Prisma SASE). If you want the full CV-style breakdown, LinkedIn has it. I’d rather use this page to talk about the things I actually find interesting, which you can find under Projects and Writing.
